On September 14th, a general election will be held in Sweden. Here the Swedes are to decide who will get the majority in the national Swedish Riksdag as well as in the 21 county councils and 290 municipal assemblies. As election-day is getting closer, the main contesters, the incumbent Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt leader of the centre-right government, and the opposition party leader Stefan Löfven, enters a critical face in their election campaigns.
The polls are more than indicating that a shift in government is about to happen. Hence, according to various polls, Prime Minister Reinfeldt and his centre-right government has not had a lead since January last year.
