The International Association of Political Consultants (IAPC) unanimously elected Ms. Nancy Todd as its new president at the IAPC World Conference in Mexico City held November 11 through 14. Todd is a longtime Democratic consultant based in Florida. She specializes in issues and advocacy campaigns. A veteran of over 200 campaigns covering 42 states and 6 countries, Todd has played a crucial role in some of the most contested races.
“I’m honored to be elected president of the IAPC,” stated Todd. “Members of the IAPC play a crucial role in elections all over the world. As president, I’m dedicated to seeing our organization continue to grow and bring in a new generation of consultants from democracies all over the globe,” added Todd.
The IAPC consists of over 150 members representing over 30 countries. The IAPC, which was established in Paris, France, in 1968, will hold its next annual meeting in Denver, Colorado, in November 2016 just after the United States presidential elections. The IAPC has 23 officers and directors. In addition to Nancy Todd, newly elected officers include Vice Presidents Mehmet Ural, of Turkey; Mauricio de Vengoechea of Colombia; Feyi Akindoyeni of Australia; and Wayne Johnson of the United States. Also, Greg Diamond of the United States was elected Treasurer; Faye Diamond was elected Secretary and immediate past president Ilkka Ahtokivi of Finland becomes Chairman.
