April 15-16, 2016 the Second International congress of political consultants
“Ukraine – 2016: internal and external challenges” took place in Kiev. The initiator of the event was Association of Professional Political Consultants (АРРС).
Around 60 participants from different countries have participated in the Congress. They are experienced political consultants, politicians, sociologists, political psychologists and PR experts.
For the first time President of International association of political consultants (IAPC) Nancy Todd visited Ukraine and took part at the Congress.
First day her performance “Current US election campaign. How would particular winner of elections influence US foreign policy” was very rich and interesting for all the guests of the Congress. The second day Nancy spent very interesting Workshop “How to attract voter to polling precinct? US experience”.
APPC members are grateful to Nancy for her visit and for the fact that she appreciated high level of Congress.
President of EAPC Necati Ozkan in his video presentation directed specifically to APPC Congress shared his best creative practices on the creation of commercials for the women’s movement, which took part at elections in Turkey. The main message of campaign: “”Do not forget about women in the politics” was not only witty visual upgrade, but also carried great social burden about women’s role in a Muslim country.
Participants of Congress appreciated very good performance of young but already good experienced political strategist from Germany Reza Kazemi, who actively used the system of communication between candidates and voters by phone during the last German Regional elections. The system allows making calls with 12 thousand voters simultaneously. His electoral know-how also used by Reza, was using of system of facial expressions, which analyzes and determine any humors or sentiments of speakers and listening. Program reads 6 facial emotions of people, who reacted accordingly to performance of some specific politician.
One of the best Russian political strategist of new generation Yevgeny Minchenko who was online with Congress, told about preparations for the Parliament`s elections in Russia and internal party tendencies today.
Jacob Olsson a digital-technologies expert from Sweden told to participants how it is important with the help of online resources to attract voters in the off-line. He actively used these technologies during elections with the Social Democratic Party of Sweden in 2015.
Not less interest were performances of Ukrainian specialists. Among them politicians, political scientists and experienced spin doctors: Stepan Gavrish, Victor Lisitzky, Oleg Nadosha, Vadim Karasev, Vladimir Fesenko, Vyacheslav Pikhovshek, Alexander Martynenko, Igor Popov, Dmitry Fischenko.
Especially interesting were performances of practitioners experts in any political process in Ukraine as Eugene Onoprienko, Julia Kovalevskaya, Konstantin Malyshev, Sergei Kireev, Peter Panochenko and others.
The discussion was very open, trusting and fruitful. President of the Association of Professional Political Consultants (APPC) Anna Tenetko in her speech at the end of the Congress noticed: “The purpose of the Congress participants is to share their experiences with each other. To achieve this, the Congress must be an atmosphere of trust and openness. I am confident that we have achieved this goal”.
