About Us

History

The European Association of Political Consultants (EAPC) was founded in 1996 and is the premier professional association of Political Consultants and Public Affair Professionals in Europe. The EAPC is a platform for exchanging ideas between campaign professionals and is committed to supporting the development of democratic structures in Europe. At the annual meetings (EAPC Conference and Master Class), the latest trends and techniques in political campaigning are discussed, as well as the development of Democracy in Europe

Goals

Main goals of the EAPC are:

- development, support and maintenance of democratic processes
- mutual exchange of information and experience
- support of co-operation and understanding beyond all borders

Board

During its annual meeting in Copenhagen/Denmark on May 2008 the Membership Assembly elected the new Board for the period 2008-2010

Directory

Association membership consists of political consultants, campaign managers, media consultants, pollsters, public affairs officers, professors, fundraisers, lobbysts and congressional staffers and is open to everyone associated with politics from the local to national level in their respective countries.

But as political consultants don't work for parties and candidates only, in addition, a growing number of corporations, public interest groups, labor and other entities interested in public policy are hiring political consultants as members of their public relations, public affairs, or advocacy teams and those persons are welcome at the Association too.

Constitution

The Statutes of the European Association of Political Consultants were amended at the founding meeting on September 14th, 1996 in Vienna, and changed at the Member Assembly 2002 in Innsbruck.
