Barbla C. Bindella-Schaerer studied at the University of Zurich and graduated in economics and psycholoy (lic.oec.publ.). From 2000 to 2004 she was vice-president of the European Association of Political Consultants (EAPC). In 2006 Barbla C. Bindella-Schaerer founded The Gate Communication. The Gate Communication is a privately owned consultancy for communication, consulting and coaching. The agency specialises in corporate communication, media relations, crisis communication and communication strategies. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Barbla C. Bindella-Schaerer was managing director at Trimedia and a member of the senior management at Farner PR as well as partner at Frei & Partner Communications. Barbla C. Bindella-Schaerer is a member of the Swiss PR-Society (BR/SPRG), mentor at the University of St. Gallen and a member of the Association of Swiss Economists.
