“From local to transnational: the challenge of campaigning in tomorrow's europe” was the main topic of the 14th European Conference of the EAPC, celebrated in Zurich, Switzerland, from May 7 to 9, 2009.
On Thursday, May 7, took place the traditional Welcome Cocktail, a social event that gives the opportunity to welcome those who attend the EAPC by the first time and to open the conference with a nice and casual atmosphere.
On Friday, May 8, 2009, after the official opening, political consultants of Europe, America and Africa engaged in a reflection on the development of transnational governmental structures.
Finally, Saturday, May 9, 2009, was the day for the discussion about new techniques and news tools of electoral campaigning, as well as the analysis of current political campaigns in Europe and the USA
EAPC Master Class
On the day prior to the Conference itself, on Thursday, May 7, 2009, it took place the MasterClass, a seminar on political campaigning organized by the EAPC in collaboration with the NCCR Democracy.
