The discussion of the debates
Last Tuesday April 28th was presented the book edited by the Spanish Academy of Television: The discussion of the debates. Spain and USA, 2008, in the Spanish Senate and features speeches by Alan Schroeder, an international expert in presidential debates; Manuel Campo Vidal, president of the Spanish Academy and Javier Rojo, President of the Spanish Senate. Daniel Ureña, MAS Consulting Spain and member of the EAPC, is one of the authors of the book.
The discussion of the debates. Spain and USA, 2008, collects the signatures of politicians, academics and journalists in a deep reflection on the “face to face” debates held in 2008 between the presidential candidates in Spain and United States.
Among the authors are, Pío García-Escudero (General Election Campaign Coordinator PP 2008), José Blanco (PSOE Coordinator General Election Campaign 2008), Manuel Campo Vidal (President of the Academy of Television and moderated the first debate) Olga Viza (Journalist and moderator of the second debate), Julián Santamaría (Professor in Political Science and former ambassador to Spain in the U.S.), Alan Schroeder (American expert analyst and author of Presidential Debates: 50 Years of Hig-Risk TV), Concha Garcia-Campoy (journalist and spokesperson for the Academy of Television); Mendizábal Mamen García (News Presenter of La Sexta - Spanish TV Channel), Daniel Ureña (Managing Partner of MAS Consulting Spain); Julián Santamaría (Professor, Universidad Complutense de Madrid).
Daniel Ureña, one of the coauthors of the book, will talk at the EAPC Conference in Zurich about Electronic Campaigns.
