EAPC Launches Unique Master’s Degree Program

Work on the project spanned three years. As of spring 2026, all details have been finalized for the “European Executive Master in Political Consultancy” program, which launches in October in partnership with the Lisbon Business and Government School and the Stirling Centre in Scotland.

“This program is unique in Europe. It is designed for working professionals and covers all areas of political consultancy and political communication, with lecturers from both worlds—theory and practice—working in unison,” says Arnaldo Costeira, Dean of the Lisbon Business and Government School, highlighting the significance of the course.

Elevating political consultants to a new level of excellence

“Europe needs a new way of thinking and acting in everyday politics. Our clear objective is to equip political consultants and communications experts with the essential tools to tackle the challenges of tomorrow. The program is a compact, six-month course that can be completed online,” says Arnaldo Costeira. By combining knowledge from both theory and practice, the program is particularly appealing to individuals who have already completed similar studies or who work in the political sector—whether for political parties, communications agencies, or as aides to Members of Parliament.

Launch at the EAPC European Conference in Frankfurt

The study program kicks off on October 3rd during the EAPC European Conference in Frankfurt. “We deliberately chose this conference because it offers a full day of opportunities to hear from—and network with—outstanding political consultants and communications experts,” the program organizers noted.

At the Frankfurt conference, more than 30 experts will speak on the topic: “Political Communication: Welcome to the World of AI and Technology.”
